Custom Made is a fashion show extravaganza spotlighting the incredible personalities and spirits of our program participants. This electrifying event celebrates our community’s diversity and creativity as models strut down the runway in pieces that tell their unique stories. Beyond the glitz and glamour, Custom Made is a heartfelt celebration of empowerment and solidarity, uniting us in our shared commitment to inclusivity.

What is Custom Made?
About The Koinonia Foundation
The Koinonia Foundation of Tennessee, a Tennessee based charity founded in 2001, is a 501©3 non-profit organization. The mission is to serve individuals with disabilities in multiple functional domains with unique, needs-based programs that enrich their lives and provide the opportunity for life-long learning.
Camp programs supported by The Koinonia Foundation are: Camp Koinonia which serves individuals with multiple disabilities ages 7-21, Koinonia Retreat which serves adults 21+ with disabilities and Camp Oginali which is specific to individuals ages 7+ with Down Syndrome. All camps are overnight and have a 1:1 ratio of campers to counselors.
Our We Adapt programs provides monthly, community engagement events for adults with disabilities ages 18+. These events provide a space for participants to build independence, friendships, and life skills.
Our newest program, Koinonia Classroom, brings adapted activities to Special Education classrooms. We produce asynchronous video content that teachers can work in to their own curriculum. The Koinonia Foundation provides supply bags for each student so every individual can participate and have everything they need!
